With the 2017 Social Good Summit less than a month away,This Isn't the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2 XXX Parody tickets are going fast and new names are being added to our distinguished lineup every day.
From musical performances to live art installations, we have a lot in store for this year's Summit!
We're excited to announce that among the latest additions to this year’s confirmed speakers are guests you won't want to miss: The Color Purple's Cynthia Erivo, Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Yes, Jamie Lannister himself will be there!), and Women's March Co-Chair Carmen Perez.
As an Emmy, Grammy, and Tony award-winning actress and singer, Erivo has been outspoken about the power using your voice to enact change. Throughout her career, Erivo has been active in the Broadway community, working to inspire conversation and collective action around racial and social justice.
Best known as a member of the villainous Lannister family on Game of Thrones, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has spent his time offscreen working as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme, slaying gender inequality and fighting climate change. Recently, having witnessed the effects of global warming firsthand during filming, Coster-Waldau teamed up with Google to document the impact of global warming in Greenland.
As Executive Director of The Gathering for Justice, Carmen Perez has advocated for many of today's most important civil rights issues. Perez has founded Justice League NYC & CA to address criminal justice at a localized level. Most recently, Perez was appointed National Co-Chair of the Women's March on Washington, which was the largest single-day protest in U.S. history and helped usher in the current resurgence of activism.
On Sunday, Sept. 17, Erivo, Coster-Waldau, and Perez will be joined onstage by a host of other advocates and activists to talk about innovative solutions to global issues throughout the world, including:
