One of the masters of the comic book universe,wife drugged sex videos writer and editor Len Wein, has died at the age of 69, and the giants in his field took to Twitter on Sunday to remind us all of the talent we lost.

Those once relatively obscure characters were later turned into mainstream favorites by Hollywood, cementing Wein's legacy beyond the realm of comic books.
In addition to his early works, which spanned the Marvel and DC universes, Wein also served as editor for Watchmenand wrote stories for Batman, Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Daredevil and many, many other beloved comic book series.
Wein's death was confirmed in messages posted on Marvel's and DC's respective websites on Sunday.

Among those stepping forward via Twitter to honor his passing were Hugh Jackman (who played Wolverine in all the film versions), writer Neil Gaiman, and many others.

"What we are doing in comics today is based on the trailblazing work of people like Len," Jim Lee, DC Entertainment publisher said in a statement. "We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to him."
