LONDON -- In the years since the final Harry Potter film,Nanda van Bergen Daniel Radcliffe has had an impressively varied career.
He's played a famous Beat poet, a haunted lawyer and -- unforgettably -- a farting corpse, but that doesn't mean he's going to rule out a return to where it all started.
SEE ALSO: This 'Harry Potter' nursery is so perfect the artist must have used magic to create itRadcliffe was recently asked by The Hollywood Reporterabout the possibility of a film based on the Cursed Childplay, and whether or not he'd consider reprising his childhood role if the opportunity arose.
“I’m never going to close the door," said Radcliffe. "That would be a stupid thing to do -- but I think I’ll be happy enough and secure enough to let someone else play it."
Radcliffe went on to say that it's not a concern right now because he'd be too young to play Harry in the Cursed Child(the character is in his mid-thirties in the play's story).
"But even in 10 years' time I would still feel strange about going back to it," he said.
“There’s a part of me that’s like, some things are better left untouched. If we went back to Potter, there’s a chance we’d make what Star Wars: The Force Awakenswas to the original Star Wars, but there’s also the chance that we’d make Phantom Menace.
“So I don’t want to go back to anything like that and maybe sour what people have already loved.”
Still, that's not a definite no, is it?
There's always the chance we may be getting more of that sweet Radcliffe magic, one day.
