Our relationship with Justin Trudeau has been on eroticization psychoanalysimthe rocks, but after the Canadian Prime Minister's heartfelt interaction with a Syrian refugee, he's found his way back into our hearts.
Trudeau was overcome with emotion listening to newcomer, Vanig Garabedian discuss his first year living in Canada, and when Trudeau weeps, we all weep.
Garabedian recalled that when he stepped off the plane a year ago, the prime minister personally welcomed him to the country, shaking hands with him and his family in Toronto's Pearson Airport.
As Trudeau heard how genuinely grateful Garabedian is to be living in Canada, he couldn't help but shed a few tears.

After dabbing his eyes with a handkerchief, Trudeau responded by letting Garabedian know he had made just as significant of an impact to him. “Watching you and your girls walk through this airport towards me, was a moment in which, I understood just the kinds of things that we do as a country," Trudeau sweetly shared.
CBC Toronto shared a clip of the heartfelt moment to its Facebook page so you can relive all the feelings and cry along with Justin.
Over the years, Canada has made remarkable strides in making refugees feel right at home and many have praised Canada's resettlement program, which has already welcomed more than 35,000 refugees to the country in the past year alone.
Though Justin Trudeau has been on thin ice after recent remarks about Fidel Castro and his decision to approve two of three controversial oil pipelines, we've got to give him major points for being a total sweetheart here.
Keep riding that road to redemption, Trudeau.
