Throughout Game of ThronesSeason 7 it's felt like Cersei is celebrity titsliving on borrowed time.
But a new fan theory not only proposes the perfect, bittersweet end to her entire house's reign of terror, but also would give Tyrion the long-awaited justice he deserves.
First, let's get one thing out of the way: Cersei is destined to die. And considering Season 8 only has 6 episodes to wrap everything up, it'll need to happen fast.
Also, the most recently published book in George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series left Cersei seemingly inches away from death at the hands of her own deranged political power plays. It also ended with her losing her only remaining ally, when Jaime ignored her pleas and left her behind in King's Landing to die.

Well, the books feature a prophecy Cersei received as a young girl that foretold her death. It was abridged slightly in the show, but that hasn't stopped fans from using the full prediction as the basis for numerous theories on how she'll bite it.
For those who need a refresher, the prophecy from Maggy the Frog stipulated that:
Three[children] for you.Gold shall be their crowns and gold their shrouds. And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.
The first part already came true, with Cersei's three children dying due to the political chaos around the crown. But Season 7's reveal that she was pregnant with a fourth child supposedly threw a wrench into the whole prophecy.
That is, until a redditor pieced together how a new baby could actually fulfill the second part of the prophecy brilliantly:
Cersei always assumed that "valonqar" (whichmeans "little brother" in Valyrian) referred to the "little" brother she despised most: Tyrion. He has every reason to want her dead, after all.
We even theorized at the beginning of the season that Jaime would be the one to kill Cersei, since he's also her little twin brother.
But, judging from the season finale, it looks like Jaime's out too. Instead, this new theory would be retribution for all the innocent children House Lannister has slaughtered or tortured for the crime of being born in a way that inconvenienced them -- including one of their own sons.
SEE ALSO: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau tells us what Jaime thinks about Cersei's big newsCersei always hated and tormented her "imp" of a brother for "killing" their mother in childbirth. If she dies in the same way -- especially from giving birth to a child with dwarfism -- it'll force her to recognize that what made Tyrion so "monstrous" in her eyes wasn't monstrous at all.
Aside from comeuppance for her cruelty, it'd serve as proof that Tyrion was, in fact, a true Lannister after all. Despite Cersei and Tywin disowning him as "no son of mine" for being a dwarf, the ultimate irony would be that dwarfism was as much a Lannister trait as having golden hair was.
For years Cersei has insisted that "their little monster" of a brother would be the end of House Lannister. So it'd be poetic if the destruction of her line actually came from a "little monster" from inside her own belly.
While still cruel, this end would be a kind of justice for Tyrion's suffering, as the child demonized by his family for the crime of being born different.
During the trial where his own father sentenced him to die (despite knowing he was innocent), Tyrion confessed that he wishedhe was guilty of killing King Joffrey. But, "I'm guilty of a far more monstrous crime. I am guilty of being a dwarf... I’ve been on trial for that my entire life."
This turn of events would even make good on Tyrion's promise that: “I wish I was the monster you think I am. I wish I had enough poison for the whole pack of you. I would gladly give my life to watch you all swallow it!”
If this theory is correct, Tyrion's supposed "monstrousness" will indeed be the poison that ends House Lannister. But it'll be a poison that Cersei herself brought into this world.
The Lannisters will finally fall from the monstrous poison of their own hatred for Tyrion.
