NEW YORK -- David Letterman is Watch New Son (2020) Korean moviecoming back to TV, and he is as sunny as ever.
Well, kind of.
The former Late Show host -- succeeded by Stephen Colbert last year on CBS -- will host an episode of National Geographic's Years of Living Dangerously. The new season of the climate change docuseries debuts Oct. 30.
In the Letterman episode, which was announced in September 2015, the comedian travels to India.
"I'm in no position to editorialize about solar power or any kind of renewable power," Letterman said in the promo. "I've created, excuse the expression, kind of a love affair with this. Think about the coal-fired, dangerous, smoke-belching generating plants, and then you look at this and it's friendly. There's something very appealing about this, and it's smooth. Look at it: I can touch it and it's safe. I put my head right there on it."
The National Geographic show will also feature a handful of other celebrity guest hosts including Arnold Schwarzenegger, America Ferrera and Saturday Night Live's Cecily Strong.
