Guess no one wants a life of accidentally activating Amazon's Alexa.

The Complete Series Archivesname Alexa has declined in popularity for newborns since the AI voice assistant debuted in 2014, as detailed in a blog post by University of Maryland sociologist Phillip Cohen.

In 2016, the name experienced a 21.3 percent drop, then followed with a 19.5 percent fall in 2017, according to data Cohen obtained from the Social Security Administration.

Last year, 3,883 babies were named Alexa compared to 6,050 in 2015.

As noted by Recode, the name Siri is not particularly popular. It did peak two years prior to the assistant's launch in 2011, with 120 girls named Siri. Last year, 20 babies were named Siri.

On the flipside, the name Malia is up by 15.4 percent in 2017, continuing a three-year upward trend.

Ivanka was slightly up too, with 164 girls named in 2017, up from 112 the year before.

However, down last year was the name Donald, which has been sliding in popularity for the last 60 odd years.
