SaturdayNight Livedecked the halls with the ghosts of Donald Trump's presidency in tonight's yuletide cold open,Dear Utol: Catfish Episode 46 and Alec Baldwin was right there for the Dickensian reckoning.
There's evidently not much to celebrate around the White House this Christmas, what with former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn pleading guilty to lying to the FBI.
SEE ALSO: Donald Trump's latest tweet proves he really doesn't understand the right to remain silentKellyanne Conway, expertly played as ever by Kate McKinnon, tried to lighten the mood, reminding the president of his many accomplishments, like passing the GOP tax bill and… passing the GOP tax bill.
But Baldwin's Trump couldn't break out of his "pouty baby mode," especially not after the heavily chained ghost of Flynn (Mikey Day) showed up as the "Ghost of Witness Flipped" to deliver dire warnings, Jacob Marley style.

First of the Christmas spirits to arrive was the Ghost of Christmas Past, Billy Bush, to remind him of the totally fake and not real Access Hollywoodtape in which, in case you forgot, Trump bragged about kissing and groping women without their consent.
"Can you believe I got fired just for listening to you?" Bush lamented. 2016 was a simpler time.
Next up, Shirtless Putin!
That's right, ladies and gentlemen, the perpetually unadorned Russian president, played by Beck Bennett, stopped by the Oval Office to remind Baldwin's Trump of, well, the whole Russia thing.
"Donald you can't hide from me; I see and hear everything you do," Putin said. Wink wink. Nudge nudge.
Last, but certainly not least, was the welcome ghost of Steve Bannon. But wait... that's not Steve Bannon.
Surprise, it's Hillary!
"You, Donald, have given me the greatest Christmas gift of all – sexual gratification in the form of your slow demise."
In A Christmas Carol, the last ghost to arrive is the Ghost of Christmas Future. Perhaps Hillary Clinton chanting "Lock Him Up!" portends things to come?
