Before Sunday, the last post on r/SAVEBRENDAN was posted a month ago. Over the past six days, over 250 posts have populated the subreddit, with people reminiscing over Fraser's past roles, cheering for Fraser's return and generating countless Fraser memes.

Part of the internet's love for Fraser stemmed from Fraser's AOLinterview, in which interviewer Ricky Camilleri said to Fraser, "Tom Cruise is rebooting The Mummy."

Fraser's replied, "Who?" before taking a sip from his mug with an impish grin.

A number of Fraser fans are upset that The Mummy, a 1999 hit film starring the internet's favorite actor, will star Cruise in an upcoming iteration.
