On Thursday,X-Deal (2011) Amazon announced that it will be pulling its planned second headquarters out of New York City.
It was a remarkable about-face for the company, and followed weeks of considerable grassroots opposition on the ground.

No one, however, took more pleasure in seeing the enormous company buckle than the people of Twitter:
