That means it will now display Live Activities and more training features with Training Load. Additionally, the Watch Ultra 2 will detect sleep apnea. It costs $799.
The Watch Ultra was first introduced in 2022, as the more specialized (and expensive) Apple Watch option. It has a longer lasting battery life and a significantly larger display. As Apple marketing would tell you, the Ultra is designed as your companion for adventurous exercise such as hiking, swims, kiteboarding sessions, and with the updates to watchOS 11 snorkeling and scuba trips.
The Ultra has yet to receive a major upgrade from its original model, but remains the more technical and more expensive Apple Watch.
