UPDATE: Sept. 30, 2016, 4:03 p.m. EDT Updated to include comments Alicia Machado made in a press release on Friday afternoon.
Donald Trump unleashed his notorious Twitter fingers once again, this time targeting former Miss Universe Alicia Machado.
Machado has been a topic of intense conversation since the first presidential debate on Monday -- and the tweets are the latest installment in the public fight between Machado and Trump.
During the debate, Hillary Clinton brought up Machado's past experiences with Trump -- including that he referred to her as "Miss Piggy" and "Miss Housekeeping" -- to highlight his misogynistic views toward women.
On Friday morning, Trump harshly commented on Hillary's decision to include Machado in her presidential campaign, before further bashing the character of the two women on Twitter.
In the tweets, Trump claimed that "Crooked Hillary" was used by Machado, who he previously described as "the absolute worst" Miss Universe contestant. He also called Machado's past into question, referring to the mother and activist as a "disgusting con" and accusing her of having made a sex tape.

Following the debate, Machado publicly spoke out in a campaign commercial and press call on Trump's disrespect. In Clinton's campaign ad, Machado claimed that Trump did not pay her properly for her work and called her "ugly" and "fat" along with other verbal abuse, which she claims led her to develop eating disorders.
At the debate, Clinton told Trump that Machado has become a U.S. citizen, and "you can bet she's going to vote this November." Trump also took aim at this comment in his tweet storm, asking if the Democratic candidate helped Machado become a citizen of the United States so that she could use her in the election.
On Friday afternoon following Clinton's defense via Twitter, Alicia Machado responded to Trump's tweetstorm with a press releasestating that Trump and his campaign are once again targeting her with "cheap lies with bad intentions."
"Through his attacks, he's attempting to distract from his campaign's real problems and his inability to be the leader of this great country," she said. "I will continue to stand on my feet, sharing my story and my absolute support for Secretary Clinton, on behalf of all women -- my sisters, aunts, grandmothers, cousins, women within the community."
Trump posted a follow-up tweet after receiving a great deal of criticism from people questioning why he was tweeting about Machado before sunrise.
