SAVE $200:The Watch Officetel: Lover Friend Online14-inch M4 MacBook Pro (16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) is on sale at Best Buy for $1,399, down from the usual price of $1,599. That's a 13% discount.
To no one's surprise, it's not a cheap investment to own an Apple laptop. We're talking the need to spend well over $1,000. But for plenty of people, the cost is worth it for the specs. The wince-inducing price tag, however, means it's just that much more exciting to find a nice deal. Until tomorrow, Best Buy is offering us a nice discount on a premium MacBook.
Through Tues. Jan 28, the M4 MacBook Pro (14-inch, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) is on sale at Best Buy for $1,399, marked down from the typical price of $1,599. That means you'll be getting a 13% discount that shaves $200 of the price.
One of the most exciting upgrades to the M4 MacBook Pro is the larger RAM. The M4 offers 16GB of RAM, which is twice as much compared to the 8GB found in the M3. The deal price of $1,399 gets you 512GB of storage capacity, but if that's not enough, you can also save $200 on the model that offers 1TB of storage. The M4 MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD will set you back $1,599 during this Best Buy sale, instead of the usual $1,799.
Mashable Tech Editor Kimberly Gedeon reviewed the 14-inch version of the M4 MacBook Pro and noted it comes with some impressive stats that should scare Windows PCs. For starters, Gedeon found the laptop to get about 17 hours of battery life. That's slightly less than Apple's statement that the laptop should get 24 hours of battery life. However, the 17 hours of Mashable testing involved streaming a movie non-stop, so less taxing tasking could improve battery life.
Gedeon also mentions the sound quality on the latest MacBook Pro is fantastic. "The 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro continues to have angelic audio that sounds like it's been tuned by a choir of heavenly beings." She continues on to say, "I've been reviewing laptops for several years now, and nothing comes close to what the MacBook Pro has been able to do with sound."
As Gedeon mentions in the review, the specs Apple injected into the M4 MacBook Pro are especially great for creative professionals. But she warns it's not an especially great laptop if you plan on streaming movies, sending emails, and signing onto the family Zoom party every holiday season. Even with the $200 discount, the M4 MacBook Pro's price is fairly steep for simple tasks a more budget-friendly laptop is totally capable of completing.
But if you're a creative professional, the M4 MacBook Pro is hard to beat. Especially thanks to today's sale price at Best Buy, the 14-inch model can be your new best friend for $1,399. But you'll want to hop to it because the Best Buy sale price expires tomorrow.
