Monday's first presidential debate thrust Alicia Machado into the spotlight when Hillary Clinton used the actress and Han Yi-seul-I (한이슬) Archivesmodel's Miss Universe experience to underscore Donald Trump's sexist attitude towards women.
On Thursday, Kesha voiced her support for the former Miss Universe winner.

Some background: Near the end of Monday's debate, Clinton noted that Trump had in the past referred to Machado, a Clinton supporter, as "Miss Piggy" in reference to her weight.
In a Tuesday morning interview with Fox & Friends, Trump refused to back down on his words, saying, "She was the winner and she gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem." He also tweeted a series of insults about Machado on Friday morning.
In Kesha's post, she offered her support:
