Thousands of people protested Trump's win Wednesday night, holding marches from New York To Los Angeles. In response, Trump returned to his tone during the campaign, demonizing the media and delegitimizing the activists on Twitter. He even capped it off with one of his favored phrases: "Very unfair!" The comment comes after he broke precedent and refused to have media cover his travels to the White House in his motorcade and on his plane.
Following another night of unrest and continued protests, which Portland police declared a "riot," Trump changed his tune on Twitter.

The President-elect contradicted his previous tweet early this morning and announced to his Twitter followers that he now loves the "passion" that these "small groups of protesters" have for America. "We will all come together and be proud!" he wrote.

Trump has long used his Twitter account to take shots at opponents, but one would hope the digital mudslinging would cease on his way to the White House. Turns out Trump could only act presidential for so long.
