Destiny's 2016 edition of the Halloween event, Festival of the Lost, is officially underway and it features a sweet, little nod to Harry Potter (and also witches). There's a "Lost Broom" in the game that can be equipped in your Sparrow slot.
SEE ALSO: 'Destiny' Halloween event finally puts your raisins to good useThe broom is relatively easy to find and there's no challenge to obtaining it, though it's only going to be usable until the Halloween event ends on Nov. 8. You can pick it up in the Tower if you know where to look for it.
Remember the robot that sits between Tess Everis and the Postmaster in the Tower? The one that's always sweeping the ground directly in front of it, for eternity?
Well if you swing by that pointless robot right now, you'll notice something missing: its broom. That's the "Lost Broom" we're looking for.
You can find it in the Tower bar. It's fun to picture a scenario where this robot -- let's call it Bender -- had a little too much fun the night before Festival of the Lost started. So much fun, in fact, that the robot's seemingly inseparable broom got left behind.
To find the broom, head to the bar and stick to the right-hand wall until you reach a set of shelves. You should see the broom peeking just over the side of the top-most shelf. Jump up onto the crates right below it and you'll get a "Recover" prompt.
Once you collect the broom, you can equip it as your active Sparrow. It doesn't do anything fancy, but it's a broom you can ride around on at high speeds. Well played, Bungie.
