People have My Sister in law Reluctantly Climbed on Topbeen making penis art for an eternity, but finally one artist is giving the clitoris its due.
Australian artist Alli Sebastian Wolf has created “The Glitoris,” which is exactly what it sounds like a: a giant, glittery clit.
The striking work is a 100:1 scale model of one of humanity’s most elusive organs. Wolf crafted it from foam, lycra and sequins (which show where the clit’s 8,000 nerves run).

“Almost no one I talk to knows about this incredible organ – how far it extends beyond what you can see on the surface and how it works,” she said. “I wanted to make something that celebrated it, a giant golden sparkling shrine that would help people come to love it like I do.”

Wolf created this gorgeous thing to use in her performative arts and for exhibition. And, so far, people are loving The Glitoris.
As what her sculpture will accomplish, Wolf said, “The Glitoris is just a small part in a revolutionary shift in awareness. And it is a revolution – when everyone has full access to the pleasure their bodies are capable of the world will be a healthier, happier place. We can fight fascism with pleasure and sparkles.”
A lofty goal, indeed, but even a little pleasure and sparkle goes a long way.
If you want to see it in person, The Glitoris will be on display in the front window of The Bearded Tit in Redfern, Sydney, through Feb. 24 -- making it far easier to find than most.
