SAVE $84.59:990 ArchivesShark FlexStyle normally retails for $299.99, but as of April 10, Sephora Beauty Insider members can snag it on sale for just $215.10 using the promo code YAYSAVE — a 28% markdown. Sign up for free.
This month's Sephora Savings Event has ushered in a deeper-than-usual discount on our favorite Dyson Airwrap dupe.
Now through April 15, Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System is on sale for just $215.10 for shoppers who enter the promo code YAYSAVE at checkout while logged into a Sephora Beauty Insider account. (It's completely free to sign up.) The FlexStyle typically retails for $299.99, so this works out to a savings of 28%, or almost $85.
This isn't the FlexStyle's lowest price ever — it briefly fell to $199.99 on the Best Buy app last November — but it's way better than the $239.99 sale price it regularly sees on the Shark website, Amazon, and at Best Buy. (Note that build-your-own bundles were $219.99 at the former retailer at the time of writing.)
SEE ALSO: Dyson Airwrap vs. Shark FlexStyle: Here's which hot air tool is worth your moneyThe FlexStyle isn't just the best alternative to the Airwrap — it's arguably better than Dyson's viral multistyler, which costs twice as much outside of sales and lacks a swiveling base that twists it into a hair dryer. It's powered by the exact same Coanda technology, which dries and volumizes hair by wrapping it around barrels, and it self-regulates its temperature to prevent extreme heat damage. Just like the Airwrap, the FlexStyle also comes with a variety of interchangeable attachments.
"Between the FlexStyle and the Airwrap, it's hard for me to imagine a reason why you'd opt for the latter unless you're into big purchases for the sake of big purchases, or if you're especially loyal to Dyson," said Bethany Allard, a lead shopping reporter at Mashable who's heavily tested both devices. And the FlexStyle's current sale price makes it an even more compelling purchase than usual.
