Gwyneth Paltrow and My Sister in law Reluctantly Climbed on TopAngelina Jolie have both added their names to the long list of women who allege movie mogul Harvey Weinstein sexually harassed them over the years.

The latest New York Timesreport -- which follows Ronan Farrow's explosive New Yorkerstory published on Tuesday morning -- is full of new, horrifying details, recounted by new accusers.

Paltrow said she was 22 years old, and had just gotten her big break by being cast in Emma, when Weinstein, the film's producer, sexually harassed her in his hotel room. "She refused his advances, she said, and confided in Brad Pitt, her boyfriend at the time," per the Times. "Mr. Pitt confronted Mr. Weinstein, and soon after, the producer threatened her not to tell anyone else about his behavior. 'I thought he was going to fire me,' she said." Pitt confirmed Paltrow's story to the Times through a representative.

Paltrow goes on to say that Mr. Weinstein "called Ms. Paltrow and berated her for discussing the episode," characterizing the exchange as "brutal" but telling the Timesshe "stood her ground." Paltrow went on to win a Best Actress Oscar in Shakespeare in Love, which Weinstein produced, but she said she "was expected to keep the secret” and that she "distanced herself" as the years passed.

In the same story, Jolie shared her own experience, in which Weinstein made "unwanted advances" in a hotel room.

“I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein in my youth, and as a result, chose never to work with him again and warn others when they did,” Jolie said in an email to the Times. “This behavior towards women in any field, any country is unacceptable.”

These new accounts reinforce the stories of Ashley Judd and many, many others who have broken open what has long been a whispered rumor in Hollywood about the incredibly powerful producer.
